GameStop GameStop NFT Marketplace

The shop closed. The stock is still on the shelves, in someone else's shop.

GameStop launched an NFT marketplace in July 2022 on Immutable X and Loopring, positioning itself as the retailer for a digital-goods economy. It closed on 2 February 2024, with the company pointing to continuing regulatory uncertainty. Buying, selling and minting stopped; the tokens themselves stayed on-chain and accessible through other platforms, which is precisely the awkward part.
